Essential storage keeps the calculator, account-free chart journey, security, currency selection, and checkout working. Google Analytics 4 and linked Google Ads measurement, PostHog analytics and session replay, and Reddit measurement are optional and load only after you choose “Accept analytics.” Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled.

Information We Collect
- Chart inputs: Birth date, optional birth time, gender, birth location, coordinates, timezone, and the Four Pillars and zodiac results derived from them.
- Contact and delivery: Email address when you purchase, subscribe, or request delivery. Gift orders may also include buyer and recipient names and emails, plus an optional gift message.
- Orders: Product, currency, price, payment and fulfillment status, order identifiers, report files, and delivery history.
- Technical and security data: IP-derived request information, browser and device details, request logs, error details, and session identifiers used to operate and protect the service.
- Optional measurement data: If you accept analytics, page and interaction events, referring and campaign information, device/browser data, PostHog session identifiers, sampled session replay data, and an email address associated with analytics when you submit it through an eligible form.
How We Use Your Information
- Calculate your Four Pillars (Ba Zi) chart
- Generate personalized horoscope predictions
- Deliver purchased PDF reports to your email
- Send horoscope tips if you opt-in to our mailing list
- Protect the service, diagnose failures, and respond to support requests
- Measure and improve the site if you accept optional analytics
Data Retention
- Before checkout, a chart journey is kept in private application storage for up to 30 minutes so you can continue the flow.
- If you continue to checkout, a private pending snapshot may remain for payment and fulfillment retries for up to 31 days and may be deleted sooner after successful fulfillment.
- Report download links expire after 48 hours.
- Completed order records and generated report files currently have no automatic deletion period configured because they support delivery, customer service, fraud prevention, and order recovery.
- Email subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to records we must retain to honor that request.
- Optional analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies of Google Analytics 4, PostHog, and Reddit. Rejecting optional analytics prevents those tools from loading on later visits and clears Jade Zodiac’s accessible optional analytics state from your browser.
